USWeb/CKS To Occupy 75,000 Sq. Ft. Building in San Francisco's Multimedia Gulch
Leading Internet Services Firm Consolidates three SF Offices, and Corporate Executive Offices into South of Market Building
SANTA CLARA, CA. - March 16, 1999 - USWeb/CKS (Nasdaq: USWB), a leader in strategic Internet and marketing communications services, today announced that the company has signed a lease to occupy a four-story building near San Francisco's Multimedia Gulch. The company currently employees over 300 people in three downtown San Francisco offices and plans to combine these offices into a single building located at 410 Townsend Street, between Fifth and Sixth streets.
In addition to consolidating the firm's San Francisco operations into one facility, USWeb/CKS will move a core portion of the company's executive management team into the Townsend location. When the move is complete some time this summer, the headquarters address for USWeb/CKS will become 410 Townsend. The company will also retain some of its corporate staff in Silicon Valley.

Douglas Rosenberg, president of The Rosenberg Company, a San Francisco-based real estate investment and development firm, is the developer for 410 Townsend. The Rosenberg Company, which holds an office portfolio of approximately 1.5 million square feet located primarly in the South of Market area of San Francisco, has made a major capital investment in SOMA real estate in support of the Mayor's program to help facilitate the growth of high tech in the City. The brokerage firm Colliers International and the interior architecture firm IA are managing the Bay Area consolidation efforts for USWeb/CKS.
