USWeb/CKS Launches Regional Radio Campaign for Net.B@nk

Campaign features tagline "So, why aren't you NetBanking?"

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - June 22, 1999 - USWeb/CKS (NASDAQ: USWB, the leading Internet and marketing communications firm, today announced the debut of a new regional advertising campaign for Net.B@nk (NASDAQ: NTBK), the nations' largest pure Internet bank. Articulating the depth of banking services available at http://www.netbank.com/ and Net.B@nk's ability to offer customers higher interest rates and lower fees than traditional banking institutions, the campaign features the tagline "So, why aren't you NetBanking?"

Launched in several phases, the Atlanta office of USWeb/CKS and Net.B@nk will roll-out the radio and local print campaign beginning in Atlanta and San Diego this week. Later this fall, the campaign is expected to debut in 10 additional markets nationwide. The campaign represents Net.B@nk's first use of broadcast and direct-mail, and supports an existing online and magazine campaign also developed by USWeb/CKS.

The latest campaign reflects an ongoing relationship between Net.B@nk and USWeb/CKS. Other services by USWeb/CKS already completed for Net.B@nk include a complete redesign of [email protected], including graphic design and navigation. Additionally, USWeb/CKS has worked closely with Net.B@nk's management team to establish a new brand identity, which has been extended to every customer touch point, from stationery systems and customer welcome kits, to ATM cards and mouse pads.
