The books have contributed to the industry's pool of knowledge on a variety of Internet technology topics, including architectures, programming and systems. All of the books were published during the third quarter of this year. Yarger is a seasoned UNIX developer with USWeb/CKS in Detroit, Michigan. � MCSE: Windows NT 4.0 Workstation for Dummies - Authored by Mike Kendzierski, this book is touted as the technologist's study guide for passing the Microsoft certification test for the software. The book, published by IDG Books Worldwide, debuted in July 1999. Kendzierski is a director of Internet Services for USWeb/CKS in New York. � Professional Site Server 3.0 - Co-authored by Mike Kendzierski, this book is a tutorial and implementation guidebook to the most recent version of Microsoft's SITE Server, including the server's integration with Web technologies. The book is published by Wrox Press Inc. and became available in July of this year. Kendzierski is also the author of Beginning Site Server 3.0, among numerous other Microsoft technology education titles, including Microsoft System Engineer's Guide to the Year 2000. � Distributed Operating Systems: Concepts and Practice - Authored by Doreen Galli, Ph.D., the book explores concepts and practices in distributed computing. It is designed to help practitioners, college educators and corporate trainers keep up with software technology that pertains to all applications running over a network, including the Internet.
