USWeb/CKS Teams with Business Week to Deliver New e.biz Conference - "Winning Strategies for The e-business Revolution"

USWeb/CKS chairman Mark Kvamme to deliver e.biz conference keynote

San Francisco - October 18, 1999 - USWeb/CKS (Nasdaq: USWB) a leader in Internet professional services, announced today that the company has co-produced a new conference with Business Week. Called "e.biz Live," the conference is the first in a new series based on Business Week's highly successful new e.biz supplement. Mark Kvamme, chairman of USWeb/CKS, will deliver the conference keynote on what the company calls E-Success(tm) in the digital economy.

Designed to be an interactive exchange of e-business insight for today's senior executives, the e.biz conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago on October 21. E-business innovators scheduled to speak include Wendy Brown, vice-president, Interactive Marketing, America Online; William Ostroff, vice-president, Interactive Division, Columbia House; Sharon Fordham, president, Nabisco Global E-Business; and Pat Connolly, executive vice president and general manager, Direct-to-Consumer Division, Williams-Sonoma.
